Whelan Electric Company

San Clemente is a city in South Orange County. It is the southern most city there which is directly off the ocean with hills to the north and on the county border.

The city is another mostly religious and historical place since the late 1700's. For a long time San Clemente was a place that was passed by most settlers until about 1776. A mission was built for the Spanish settlers and the local indians. They started building the community around the area in what would later become a city.

San Clemente's style is a Spanish style coastal resort town, with red tile roofs and white stucco walls. After years of building and establishing it's residents, it wasn't until 1928 when the town finally became incorporated. The mayor at the time described the city's future plan as to create a clean painting on a clean canvas that was 5 miles long.

San Clemente is another city that is home to history and has a great past. Homes here have been built with pride and have last since the beginings but there is always more that can be done to keep these homes forever.
